Greatest N64 Game

May I start by saying that Zelda Ocarina of Time is the greatest game of all time period, not just for the N64. It has the RPG concept with an extremely long and detailed game play. Although other RPG games came out before, this was definitely a massive step towards where we are now in the video game industry making this game an epic necessity to our lives.

  3. Pokemon Snap is for people bad at video games so they get distracted from their lack of skill with cute pokemon.

  4. uhm. duh. but if we want a "real game" i'll go with Pokemon stadium. Why? Because you could plug Pokemon Red/Blue into the game and play it on your big screen. Plus you could play its own sweet stadium challenges and minigames

  5. Although megan does make an excellent point of mario party, it is only a great game. Not the best. And if Megan wants to be taken seriously she should get on her own freaking computer. Theres nothing worse then someone shoveling off there ideas through another person. Plus your points kinda suck...

  6. Except for pokemon stadium is impossible to beat. Those gym leaders are not anyones cup of tea...

  7. Alex. I beat it. You have to beat Red/Blue then use your super strong pokemon to win... Its awesome cause its cross console gaming.

  8. Ocarina of Time's music stands alone, revolutionized RPGs. It really had two games in one. One when you were younger, one when you were older. It kept you busy for a long period of time and when you finally beat the game you never felt so accomplished.

  9. Patrick, I think your argument is completely valid, but I have to stick to my guns on this one. Cross console gaming is pretty epic, but if I wanna be busy for a month or two, I'm gonna play ocarina of time. Red/blue could take you no more than a week tops and that just isn't very satisfying...

  10. Uhm... Yeah. Red/Blue alone takes a week or two. but in order to truly beat the game you have to find a friend with the other color. Trade. and get all 150 pokemon. Then beat the leaders in stadium. Plus then you can replay the mini games over and over and over. Mini games rules for our ADD generation.

  11. Pokemon Stadium? Great game. Ocarina of Time? Great game. But best game? Super Smash Brothers. The one that started it all. Think about all the countless hours spent beating your friends over the head with lazer swords and pokemon balls. What other game has Pokemon, Zelda, and Mario?

  12. Yeah, but in both Pokemon Stadium and Smash Brothers, you're in the same place the entire time. Yes, you can switch stadiums, but doesn't looking at the same 15 levels get redundant? Ocarina of Time allows you the ability to be where ever you want to be and it never gets boring... MINUS the loading screens. HA.
